Steven qualified from The British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) in London in 2004 and has 17 years of experience as an osteopath.
Steven has gained an international reputation for taking on difficult cases in all aspects of osteopathy and tries to assess and treat each patient as an individual rather than the patient being categorised by their age, preconditions, or effectively having been written off as a lost cause by other medical professionals. Steven has been flown out to various parts of the world to treat various supposed ‘lost causes’ with great success and particularly enjoys this challenge.
Steven takes the approach to sports injuries that it is more a case of the human body being injured whilst ‘doing’ sport rather than ‘sports injuries’ being some rarefied injury i.e. common sense needs to be applied to an understanding of what movements are involved in which sports.
Steven regularly attends professional development courses to keep up to date with current medical research and maintains good links with local GPs, insurance comanpies and other practitioners
