Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial osteopathy is a subtle type of osteopathic treatment that may help the release of stresses and tensions accumulated in the body.

Osteopaths are trained to assess the dynamic state of the body tissues within both the cranium and the rest of the body.⁷ Osteopaths may detect traumas that have not been well accommodated by the body and will support its attempt to return to health by using gentle techniques to release strain pattern⁷. This type of treatment is suitable for everyone from newborn babies⁸^,⁹ to the elderly¹⁰.

Please note that the research references below are pilot studies. There is a need for larger trials to confirm these findings.
