Osteopathic Consultation with Dr Iona Bramati PhD – £199
The initial consultation is made up of two parts
- the online assessment (30mins) via a secure online platform and
- the face-to-face assessment (40mins) at the Practice – 9 Upper Wimpole Street, London W1G 6LJ.
An initial consultation encompasses taking a thorough patient history and the details as to the onset and manifestation of the current health concern. During the consultation, the practitioner will narrow down possible causes of the complaint. This part of the assessment is done online via a secure platform.
After the initial online consultation, the patient then will be invited to the practice for a face-to-face assessment where the practitioner will conduct a physical examination and the patient will be asked to demonstrate movements that are causing pain. Depending on the working diagnosis reached, the practitioner will be able to start the osteopathic treatment and guide the patient on exercise prescription, postural adjustments, simple ergonomic changes within the household setting as well as mindfulness guidance.
Please note: Osteopaths are trained to recognise when there is a need for a patient to be referred to a GP or for further testing (laboratory testing , X-rays MRI scans) to help diagnose the problem. Therefore, depending on your complaint it me be necessary for you to be referred to a specialist or your GP for a second opinion.

One of Dr Bramati ’s PhD, BSc (Hons) Ost Med, DO, ND Osteopath & Naturopath specialities is supporting autistic children’s health.
A thorough initial consultation is done via our online platform. This will encompass asking detailed questions regarding the patient’s history such as the mother’s pregnancy, labour, the onset of the child’s current symptoms. The patient will then be invited to the practice for a face-to-face assessment where Dr Bramati PhD will conduct a physical examination and discuss with the parents the support that she may be able to provide to your child.
Dr Bramati PhD also works in close contact with Ms Stella Chadwick – Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine practitioner.
Please Note: If you suspect autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in your child, he/she should be referred by your GP for a semi-structured assessment of communication, social interaction, and play (or imaginative use of materials). Please contact your medical practitioner for further information.

Dr Bramati PhD, BSc (Hons) Ost Med, DO, ND Osteopath & Naturopath offers advice on dietary changes, lifestyle changes, and guidance on emotional wellbeing. Dr Bramati PhD, BSc (Hons) Ost Med, DO, ND Osteopath & Naturopath is fully registered with the General Council and Register of Naturopaths (GCRN) and was trained in the principles of Functional Medicine by the Institute of Functional Medicine – AFMCP-UK. She is also able to refer you for laboratory testing which will provide comprehensive clinical information assisting in the management of your health.
