The technique was really successful and I wanted to do further work in order to be better help people with other shoulder pain problems like bursitis, rotator cuff tendinopathy, and osteoarthritis.
‘Why do you like shoulders so much?’
The anatomy and evolution of the shoulder has always been very interesting to me – it’s the most mobile joint we have in order that it can do the things we need it to do. This put shoulders at risk for problems as well, as they are easy to injure. I never realised how important a shoulder can be to one’s daily life until I injured my own and saw what an impact it had on everything from showering, dressing and eating to being able to pick up my child. I became much more interested in treating shoulders and it has been very rewarding to help people with shoulder pain.
