The project was approved for collaboration with King’s College Hospital, London and endorsed by the National Autistic Society and sponsored by BCOM via a grant from the British Naturopathic and Osteopathic Association. She is committed to helping improve the quality of life and wellbeing of children on the spectrum using a non-invasive form of therapy – Visceral Osteopathy.

Research: Abdominal Lymphatic Pump Treatment Increases Leukocyte Count and Flux in Thoracic Duct Lymph

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Abdominal Lymphatic Pump Treatment Increases Leukocyte Count and Flux in Thoracic Duct Lymph   “Previous studies suggest that rhythmic compression of the abdomen (abdominal lymphatic pump techniques, LPT) enhances immunity and resistance to infectious disease, but direct evidence of this has not been documented. In this study, the thoracic duct of eight anesthetized mongrel dogs

Research: Lymphatic pump manipulation mobilizes inflammatory mediators into lymphatic circulation

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Lymphatic pump manipulation mobilizes inflammatory mediators into lymphatic circulation “Lymph stasis can result in edema and the accumulation of particulate matter, exudates, toxins and bacteria in tissue interstitial fluid, leading to inflammation, impaired immune cell trafficking, tissue hypoxia, tissue fibrosis and a variety of diseases. Previously, we demonstrated that osteopathic lymphatic pump techniques (LPTs)
